What a player he's been for us! Fantastic threat going forward, reliable and vocal at the back and in the victory singing. Good luck to him..unless he's signed for our neighbours!

There's a good chance, I heard he was signing for Keighley if Murray had gone there.

That’s an interesting one, Galea you’d think would have been the successor to Budsy

Hasn't Galea got another year left?

He has.

The point Gillmeister80 was making is that CWT is naturally a full back, the position that you would think Galea will slot into 🤷🏻‍♂️

Burns just announced he's leaving town and thanking everyone for the last 2 year's.

Shame that, been great watching him the last few seasons, quality player.

Though I`d rather Burns stayed I dont think we lose much in the full back position if Galea plays there, he showed last season when the coach finally allowed him to play in his best position just how good a full back he is. Great idea to then move him back on the wing for the last game....

Burns as played well for town, runs strong and been reliable, but I always thought the team was restricted to how they played when he was out the back at fullback, always run the ball.but a strong player.

He would have been better in the centre

Daft why? Haven gonna be full of NCL CARLA players next year, be a good crack with added few like Burns & Tomposh. This is the way Haven need to go, Kellet put 150 on crowd last game hopefully with a team full of lads from West Cumbria crowds be increased and as has been said winning is not the end game we need to sort our problems out first.

Both teams need to be going 90% local to make this game keep existing up West, but with the likes of Rochdale, dewsbury and Goole already well under way with recruitment of big names club that with keighley, it's gonna be another tough one.

For town they can't do any worse then last season and for haven, relegation and Murrays new team they also need will be looking to be competitive.

Gonna be an interesting one.

Daft maybe the wrong word, just surprised if he signed now, although perhaps understandable once he comes off tour and maybe sees League 1 as an easier step up than Championship (Which I think he could handle)

Also I agree that local lads bring in more of a crowd but not a chance did Jack Kellet add 150 through the gate.

Ano but it’s only one we got 😂 so have to prey they sort there out.

At the end of the day, Whitehaven RLFC still exists. I hope the people in charge realize how close they came to being finished. So, the first thing on the agenda must be to clear all the debts, and then make sure they have someone with a good business background to put together a business plan for next season and stick to it.

One signing doubled the gate 🤔

I'm a Town fan , and I wouldn't have liked to see Whitehaven  fold .As I hope,  if the roles were reversed the Whitehaven fans would feel the same .We need each other ,We would miss all this this banter on the forum if it ever happened . Plus Iwhen we play each other it's our biggest crowds of the season .   Next season with Coaches and players swapping clubs.  The Ike Southward  and home and away in the league  there's  going to be some interesting  encounters . Which hopefully will generate much needed revenue for both clubs  . UTT.
