The sponsor logo for me spoils it.

The sponsor spoils it full stop!

I don't care how much money they're providing for this deal, it's absolutely shameful that a loan shark company that preys on the most financially vulnerable of society is allowed to sponsor any part of our game.

That their sponsorship should be held up as ground breaking and lauded as something good is perverse IMO.

They are parasites in the same mould as Wonga and I find it ironic that the people running our game see Betfair as an unsuitable partner yet welcome an unscrupulous organisation that's profiteering from people's financial difficulties.

I'm ashamed that this has been allowed.

Weren't Wakey once sponsored by British Coal? I'm sure some people with environmental concerns would find that unacceptable.

We used to be sponsored by tobacco companies & breweries as well but as an enlightened society we try to move away from such obviously morally wrong associations.

I've read Stans post and despite his rose tinted and nostalgic musings about the origins of the company it has zero relevance to its activities of today.

which is the same shirt design hornets used for years before modern styles came along even down to the colours in the band

Yeah but on the plus side those high interest rates they charge mean they can afford to give us a good sponsorship deal. Result.

The Design of Bradfords is excellent but the sponsor logo for me spoils it and should be a bit lower and smaller. The kits so far look generally much better than in previous seasons

The sponsor won't be that big on the playing shirt. I make some kits for some of the Championship teams, and the guidelines re: size and positioning of sponsors is very strict. Chances are that that is a one off, sample shirt that was used for the press conference where they announced the new sponsorship deal. It will definately be prominent on the replicas, but that is to be expected for £1.2 million.
