London were very quick today and their fullback was excellent. We never seemed in the game and I thought we didn't play badly we just could not keep up with them most of the game! Having watched every team this season if London play like that they'll walk the plate thingy. Great little ground too and the deal of a curry, pint and seat in the stand was great value just a shame there wasn't many there to watch

Yes, disappointing, I really did fancy us to win today after our last two performances. Can't attach blame to any player/pairing etc we just ran into a London side who clicked, like we did last week. Looks like they'll play our mates over at the Tetleys' so the match video will be getting an airing over there!

Really poor onfield decisionmaking all game. At least three times tackled in possession on 6th tackle, twice chose to run a penalty from halfway when we could have gained the first 30 yards by just kicking for touch and lost count of the times we tried to barge over from one yard ano were held up when spreading the ball wide would have been much the better option.

Can only hope the rumoured Sheffield connection will bring in someone to organise the team and make sensible decisions. Agree with ernieone above, yesterday only Ainscough, Day and Leak and maybe Lillycrop looked like they were interested. Even our much vaunted forwards got out-enthused and out muscled by the Broncos

Awful performance. At times the team didn't look interested, which is very disappointing. We were out enthused by a young, quick London side who showed both creativity and daring with the ball.

For us, it was the usual story, plenty of possession and territory, but very little idea or spark. We are so slow in terms of distribution too. Not to mention thought processes.

The defence has been reasonable in the main this year, but even that was off yesterday, especially out wide. A very poor day at the office. And a long, long day for the fans that made the trip. It's hard not to be critical to be honest being one of them.

Personally looking forward to this season ending on Sunday now, and starting again in 2016. Hopefully with the players rumoured to be signing for us. We aren't a million miles off a top 6 side, but are in desperate need of some players with creativity and who can lead a team around the park, and some attacking set plays as we seem to have very, very few this year. With the exception of course of the highly successful inside ball to the forward who is generally standing still. Lots to work on in the off season.

Very disappointing to read and those who ventured darn sarth perhaps deserved better.

Looking forward to sunday and closing the season down.

Anyone see wheelbarrow cavorting with his new cockney colleagues?

'Shaw cross juniors, Birkenshaw, Mirfield, Heckmondwike Panthers, Stainland Stags and then the Heavy woolen donkeys... WARDY, STOZZA, GT, KARL OR KEAR MUST OF DROPPED A DIGIT FROM MY MOBILE NUMBER! :clapping:

No great loss at all, we should have organised a whip round for his train fare.

What we're dealing with here is a complete lack of respect for the law

Well if he is going, l would wish him well. What l see when he plays is someone who always tries to take responsibility and never shirked from that, even when he was getting real abuse from certain parts of the crowd. He doesn't seem to shy away from taking the lead, which is obviously the role our coach expects from him.

He did not have a great time at Batley, but the circumstances did not allow for that. Yes he has struggled while he has been here, but he is not the only one, but seems to be singled out for particular criticism!!
