I've been trying to secure some decent seats near half way at Wembley, but I am drawing a blank.

The RFL has been putting links all over social media which take you to a website where almost all sections of the stadium are greyed out and unable to select.

Weirdly, the Official ticketing website has been down for maintenance much of today.

I've also tried the link from Wire's own website but you can only buy tickets in the mosh pit behind the sticks.

Am I missing something? Thanks in advance.

I have been experiencing similar difficulty. Frustrating and I shall try again tomorrow.

It's a bit absurd that it's so hard to get decent tickets for an event which is probably going to get a 2/3 to 3/4 capacity attendance.

I am in the same boat regarding GF tickets. Large sections of OT are hatched out and when I rang (for the third time) I was told they are earmarked for hospitality. This even included the ends where the fans of the competing teams sit. They couldn’t run the proverbial party in a brewery.

I clicked through a few minutes ago there were tickets available in the top tier in the NW and NE corners, but now they are grayed out again.

Ticket sales looking good at Warrington:

TICKET sales among Warrington Wolves supporters for the Challenge Cup Final have got off to an encouraging start.

Indeed, after less than 48 hours of sales, there will already be more Wire fans inside Wembley Stadium than the last time they reached the showpiece game.

The Wire booked their place by thrashing Huddersfield Giants 46-10 in Sunday’s semi-final, with a mouth-watering Wembley clash with neighbours Wigan Warriors to decide the fate of the trophy to come on Saturday, June 8.

Tickets went on sale to members immediately after the full-time hooter as part of a priority window, with the remainder going on general sale this morning.

And club sources have told the Warrington Guardian that already, the number sold already exceeds the total amount of Wire fans that were at the memorable 2019 win over St Helens, which was believed to be just over 5,000.

With general sale having only just started and with more than a fortnight still to go until the game, the prospect of Wire’s following being above 10,000 appears to be high.

I remember when I first started going to finals that you had join a queue very early in the morning and hope the staff in the office would pull a physical ticket from the pile that was in a good place to sit.

Now you can buy them on your phone on the way home from the semi final, assuming the ticket website works, in the section you want. It is surprising club allocations are still as big as they used to be, and that they sell pretty well.

If only. This thread was started because Leeds Wire can’t do what you are saying.

Haven't had reason to go to a final for a while, but had the same problem buying England tickets last year so I know the pain.

How did we end up going backwards?

Seriously, this is success?

My son ordered ours straight after the game.

I’ve just checked and you can buy tickets in the top two open corners only. The rest suggests no availability. I think we all know based on every other RFL event this won’t be true.

Those available seats are dirt cheap too

Absolutely no availability now and all night. I've got a lot of sympathy for people at the RFL most of the time but this is utterly pathetic. How much revenue are they just p*ssing away through total amateurism?

I read the other day that Wigan v Hull KR was going to be a sell out, that and a litany of other b0110cks reports about attendances (the last world cup springs to mind) means I won’t believe anything until I see it.
