If Catalan get their heads out of their backsides and stay up (i am dubious) this will give Bird more time to recover and get back to how he looked at the start of the season.  On current form (due to injuries) he isn't that big a miss

He is a dirty player and not what you would call a great role model but unlike a lot of the other imports he does put a shift in so hopefully will be better next year.

Tackle was dreadful - no room for that in the game.

It will be interesting to see the mitigational details in the Disciplinary report.

Rare we see these now, but we still see cannonballs regularly enough.

The MRP at the RFL appears to becoming on a par with a sewerage works on a weekly basis with decisions like this.

But you argued that Acton's ban was too harsh and that was before the appeal. You also claimed that Acton was taking care of Bird

A cynic might suggest that the mitigating circumstance is a possible appearance of Catalan in the MPG in 4 weeks time.........
