Watched the game on OurLeague and what another outstanding display from the Knights. Tackled big spending Leigh to a standstill and they'd run out of ideas with about 10 minutes to go. With one game to go we can, if results go our way,  actually finish 2nd, let that sink in, yes 2nd in the Championship. What a season. Ford for coach of the year and the Knights for the team of the year.

Finish 3rd, lose to Toulouse, beat Leigh/Fev at home. Let Toulouse go over to Toronto, knacker em out and beat them in the semis and yeah, easy..

Had a nice chat with an avid Oldham fan at the Skolars Wembley bash. He congratulated us on our season and said as far as he's concerned the Knights are definately the team of the year. Of course I agreed, but it made me feel ten feet tall and prouder of our club for decades cos other teams fans are acknowledging us.

Great team performance against one of the big spenders in the Division and proves that what a great job Fordy has done over the last 3seasons in getting us into a position where we would have been dreaming of at the beginning of the season.

Congratulations on a well-deserved win. You have a well-organised team, where every member plays for his mates. We were like that, until we recently started bringing in the 'big names' - the major factor in our downfall last year.

Coming up from League One, and ending up having a realistic chance of finishing second, is an astonishing achievement. Awards for team of the year, and coach of the year should be a formality.

I should feel disappointed after today, yet I don't. Considering the dark place we were in last November, the top 5 seems wonderful, but you guys must be delighted?

Thoroughly pleased for you, after the past few years - and welcome back.

P.S. Please don't meet us again, in the play-offs - we all know what your winning margin would be!!

Think Leigh lost it going for a drop goal with 15 to go. That showed lack of confidence in their ability to score a try

Cant believe this team, they dont know when there beat, this must be the best team in the 65 years that ive watched them, they give everything week after week, so proud to be a Knight.

  Deffo the best knights team ever but we did have some good larkers in the 80s. Challenge cup semi and the old 1st division spring to mind

Hmm,  now steady on there lads, those teams in the eighties were damn good and we had some brilliant individuals. Having said that, our current crop certainly play out of their skins for each other.

Another awesome performance and another well earned and valuable two points. Halifax next up and this final round of matches will determine just where the Knights finish up, fourth, third or second? Oh, and we’ve just done the double over Leigh, a side that were in SL two seasons ago, and who have been recruiting very well of late. Don’t remember the last time we could say that, if at all.

plenty of dropped ball by both sides in very testing conditions , as the scoreline suggests game could have gone either way, good match for the speccies top championship games take some beating .
