ChampagneCharlieReturns Posted November 1, 2019 Posted November 1, 2019 Gutted to hear ex Oldham prop Hugh waddell passed away this morning
OLD YED Posted November 1, 2019 Posted November 1, 2019 Very sad to hear this Nice fellow and a bloody good prop. Times like this i want to believe in the afterlife as this life is so unfair at times. RIP Hugh ..
FailsworthYed Posted November 1, 2019 Posted November 1, 2019 One of my favourite players ever.. Bought him from Blackpool Borough I seem to recall. Strong running fella rip legend..
Bedford Roughyed Posted November 1, 2019 Posted November 1, 2019 Sad news. RIP Hugh. With the best, thats a good bit of PR, though I would say the Bedford team, theres, like, you know, 13 blokes who can get together at the weekend to have a game together, which doesnt point to expansion of the game. Point, yeah go on!
moorside roughyed Posted November 1, 2019 Posted November 1, 2019 Oh no. Can't believe it. Great prop and from what I've heard about him a decent bloke. RIP. Sympathies to his family and friends.

The Art of Hand and Foot Posted November 1, 2019 Posted November 1, 2019 Omg. I can't believe it. First saw him when he played against us for Blackpool. He then signed for us . He was a block busting prop. Gutted, absolutely gutted. Sheddings would resound with hughy hughy hughy. RIP Hughy Roughyed legend.
tub Posted November 1, 2019 Posted November 1, 2019 RIP , one of if not the best Oldham prop I’ve ever seen play for our team , thanks Hugh for the memories
Steve the Roughyed Posted November 1, 2019 Posted November 1, 2019 Yes. Really disappointed to see this tonight. I was a big fan. I believe he was known as flippin eck as he didn't swear. May be wrong but that is what I remember. RIP sir.

Saw him in Monty's many times nursing a pint of fresh orange juice.
