BLESSED'S ALIVE!!!

"I am the avenging angel; I come with wings unfurled, I come with claws extended from halfway round the world. I am the God Almighty, I am the howling wind. I care not for your family; I care not for your kin. I come in search of terror, though terror is my own; I come in search of vengeance for crimes and crimes unknown. I care not for your children, I care not for your wives, I care not for your country, I care not for your lives." - (c) Jim Boyes - "The Avenging Angel"

Jeff Goldblum.  Could've sworn he died of a heart attack in 2018.

As a fellow time traveller you seem to have got yourself mixed up. He died in 2028 of a heart attack. Easy mistake to make though

I once saw a cartoon, possibly by the recently deceased Ed McLachlan, that has two people in a car, with the doors flung open.  They are covering their ears and one is asking the other why they chose Brian Blessed for the sat nav voice!

I was talking with someone in the pub the other week who was telling me that the actor who played Les Battersby had died. He was so genuine in his tale that I believed him (why would you invent such a tale?)

The other day it was his birthday, aged 72 and definitely alive. I was more taken aback by this relatively trivial fact than I should have been.

Might be because the fictional Les Battersby was killed off in a workplace accident in the soap in November (not having appeared on screen since 2007)? Seems plausible that someone might have assumed it was because the actor himself was dead.
