I think a pro-Australian neither HAS to be good nor HAS to be bad for Rugby League in total - in fact it CAN be both.

 

After his comments about Cricket and RU Iwould bet on an positive outcome. He wants to achieve some milestones - we will get more games in the autumn and have to pray for games in February (and June, but only in Europe)

Another interesting thing from the interview, when he said he wants to increase female participation, he said in French RU, 20% of registered players are female, whereas in French RL only 8% are female.

Hopefully he will be back after a rest.

I already see a bunfight with certain people jockeying for position (Typical in FRL) however the cards are stacked in favour of those that can provide TV coverage and sponsorship.

Et de préciser : « En ces circonstances peu communes, eu égard à leurs fonctions respectives et aux délégations qu’ils portent, le vice-président et le secrétaire général plus particulièrement, mais aussi plus généralement les Membres du Comité Directeur et des commissions de la FFR XIII assureront la gestion des activités de la fédération et de ses services. Seules les décisions engageant des contractualisations et des transformations profondes seront retardées ».
