Sadly Sheddingswasus will have to eat his words about Rawsthorne, in my opinion he has cost us two games by dropping passes and pathetic tackling. Hartley wouldn't have made those mistakes - I feel for the lad.

All the articles are saying he's an Oldham lad or born in Oldham. Wikipedia says he was born in Huddersfield. But then again it had Moran down as 39 stone

Widnes forum also mentions Aaron Brown ( an Oldhamer) and Owen Farnworth. Sounds like Widnes are in a bit of bother with rumours of administration

It's odd isn't it, we think we're the only ones with issues. But every club has issues with the owners, the board, the coach, the team, the budget or the RFL. Just read the Widnes forum and it seems CH's remit is to cut costs. Some fans are talking about the club in existential terms. We've been there, done that and have the T shirt. Our new regime are doing what we've been asking for, for years. Now it's up to us , to turn up, turn it on and bring old fans and friends back. I know a few old fans who are waiting till we are back at BP. No persuasion to come back now. So hopefully next season we will be bringing them in.

Couldn't agree more. Roll on next season and hopefully we are in the Championship.

Tom forber gone to Widnes. So don't think we'll be seeing him again this season.

Andy Gabriel on loan from Dewsbury, he's a rapid winger if he stays fit a good signing

A couple of good signings for you, Gabriel as been pretty reliable at Dewsbury and Ellis when he is on form and fit will tear League 1 apart, he was never in the plans beyond last season at the Knights but had a clause in his contract to stay if we reached the play offs, unfortunately for him he got injured. No doubt will be happier there closer to home.

Joe Hartley going out on loan to London Skolars for 2 weeks. Makes perfect sense to get him some game time before we play next.

Interesting chat on the Widnes forum. They have the farnworth deal done and Oldham linked with craven and Lawton too! ….you can’t fault our boards ambition! 
 

they also have littler heading to Rochdale to link up with mazey.

Widnes in bottom half of Championship looking to offload players. Hope we are only interested in players who are an improvement on what we have not just because it says "Championship Player" on their CV.

Not many better strike players than lawton outside SL. It would be a major coup if we pulled it off

Typical. We send Joe Hartley out on loan to get some game time during a gap in our fixtures and the Skolars game at Spotland is called off due to the torrential rain.

Be all change for next season, heard some definite outgoings and couple more top players coming in, the squad will be completely different
