So it's been confirmed that the last round of Super League will all take place on the Friday evening. TV games to be confirmed but Sky have confirmed they will be at any games that are still relevant play off wise.

Also confirmed is that they are making arrangements in terms of the awarding of the LLS. With only 22 miles separating the relevant grounds potentially involved, I wonder if it will be replicas or someone in a car checking the scores.

Hurrah and so it should.

With hopefully so much at stake then it should be an easy (coughs) angle to sell to the media or more importantly generates tension, ecstasy, agony and thrill that evening for us fans..

Does it? It’s nice to get a trophy but the LLS isn’t as prestigious as maybe it could be. How many people, who aren’t fans of the respective teams, remember who won the LLS previously? Any games involving teams in a relegation battle should be kicking off at the same time and day IMO.

This is a good development and I think long overdue. Personally would prefer Sunday 3pm for the final day but the main thing is they’re all together. For once, we’ll done RFL.

I think you miss the point... ALL games are kicking off at the same time

So much on the line potentially could be great.

Very good.

I can confirm 30+ less sales for Scotland vs Italy at Workington, after this afternoons test purchase for the Tonga match, £7.50 is extremely reasonable, however a £2.50 'delivery' fee for a walk in purchase is beyond taking the mickey, good luck with that, it's cheaper on the telly.

Usually, I think avoiding clashes is good. But this is the exception.

If kick offs were staggered next week, it means more matches become dead rubbers.

If Wigan beat Leigh on Thursday for example, the Catalans and Saints matches if they were on Friday would have less significance attached.

Same if, hypothetically, Warrington played Huddersfield on Friday and won, securing the last play off spot. If Salford played on Sunday, their game would be a dead rubber when it needn't be.

Kicking off simultaneously means more excitement and probably higher crowds.

I think developments like this are positive, and it creates stories and a focus on the last round, which is what you want really.

Fella i support a team that hasn't won a major honour in all my days, endured their only Challenge Cup final during lockdown. Personally I would still be dining on Salford winning a Hubcap for the rest of my life if they ever did it.😆🙋
