Seems their board are blaming the coaching staff for playing him last week 🙄

I read that. Classy stuff.

It's only last week they were failing to pay players, now they're alienating the coach and their own fans. A PR disaster.

Question: Would a criminal conviction like Aiye's invalidate his work Visa? Not sure how these things are supposed to work.

Anyone else hear a hissing sound?

See they had only 541 watching them yesterday poor do that !

Apparently so but it's to be expected, times are hard enough at the moment and for the RFL to give us 4 home games at the start of the season people are having to pick what games to go to or spending money on something else. No one would of imagined us getting that close to Fev so would of chosen not to attend this week

Maybe there was a reason Haven were given 4 home games,if the fans are not backing them maybe an opportunity wasted.

Maybe the board could have been more imaginative to bring more people in?

Sounds like the team performed, they may have got over the line with better support.

I agree with you they probably could of but I imagine without them we wouldn't have a club so can't knock them too much 🤣 hopefully lessons have been learned and we start to do more in the future, the game seems to of gone the way of a " match day experience" which sadly we seem to be way behind both Barrow and Town at the minute. But as I say, I can't knock them too much.

Going off the comments posted by Dalton Desmond-Walker about his accommodation Havens lottery win must have been 2 numbers on the Thunderball.

Wouldn't trust a word he says, trying to play the blame game instead of accepting responsibility for his actions. Best off well rid of him, bad apple

They did this last year. They pleaded poverty, loads of people chipped in to help get them out of the hole and here they are again, back at square one.

'WHITEHAVEN Rugby League has announced the loan signing of Sam Ackroyd from Bradford Bulls and the permanent signing of Callum Shaw from Hull FC.; - Aug 5th.

Playing for free.....that's nice of them.

Bit confused how it has ended up like this. Sponsors, solar panels being installed and new signings yet they are back where they were the previous season.

The owners of the ground ( miners ) have put a block to the solar panels being put up

For a club that was on its backside this time last year ,I was very surprised they decided to bring in even more imports in with Owen mccarron, edene gebbie ,Lachlan hannigan ,then furthermore Jake maizen from Halifax ,clearly spent well above there means or projected income . absolutely criminal being in that situation last year and then repeating the same mistakes within a year

Perfectly put mate. Thought the same about the import’s beginning of the season seems they never learn. But with gates of 341 probably time to close the gates for good.

Hopefully they sort themselves out,we don't want to lose any clubs.

But the point being with gates like that championship rugby is not sustainable

I know what you're saying but they will have to at least try  something.  Appeal to the public of Whitehaven? More sponsors, firms and supporters, less wages on foreign players who seem to command more then UK players in some instances. Iam sure they will have a plan - won't they ?

Not sure if you have seen it but their interim chairman has put out the rallying call.Feel really sorry for him and I hope he gets help to keep the club going,it’s obvious massive mistakes have been made yet again after last season.

331 at home to Toulouse is pitiful, where are the fans? From the outside it seems they have lost touch with their fan base and all the brilliant community clubs that surround them?
