Are you starting a ‘French in the NRL’ thread…??? 😂

It's a NSW Cup debut so 'French almost in the NRL'

Given Enzo is the only one it might as well be called the Enzo Griffier thread.

think Dom Young is about to enter the most crucial part of his NRL  career so far since joining the roosters - his try scoring , metre making and his on field presence has been great - however some of his play seems to be erratic - clumsy and bizarre to say the least with roosters fans having their hearts in their mouths every time he gets the ball as to which way its going to go - opposition kickers seem to have singled him out too - lets hope he rises to the challenges presented and carries on with his amazing feats of try scoring like all the great wingers in the  NRL

I know Bono and he knows Ono and she knows Enos phone goes thus

We could change this thread's title to "Europeans in the NRL".

I'm sure our more Brexity members wouldn't object. :kolobok_wink:

Is Lewis Murphy still injured? I was confident he’d get an NRL debut this year if he played NSW Cup regularly

Yep still injured, big same. Definitely would have debuted already.

Fingers crossed he’ll back soon. Still not sure if it is a lingering problem with his ACL or a new injury.

A try and 3 assists for Pryce today.

Plus 7 conversions, he is an excellent goal kicker.

Starting to think there is some personal feud between Pryce and Adam O’Brien. It’s becoming beyond a joke he hasn’t at least been given a go yet, considering he probably one the best players in the whole Newcastle squad.

I think Pryce should be looking at leaving, I’m sure all 16 other NRL clubs would be incrediblely eager to sign him and play him.

Not going to debut anytime soon at fullback behind the likes of ponga, Armstrong and sharpe.

Ponga’s Injrued and he is better than Sharpe and Armstrong. Besides he would more likely in the halves, where his best competition is Gamble and Cogger both of whom he is far far better than.

Deserve a bench spot at least.

His stats have hardly been great this season in NSW cup. The only couple games I managed to watch that he was in he missed quite a few tackles, not exactly great when coming into an NRL team.

Knights are pretty boring and basic in a lot of their attack . Neither of their halves are much of a direct threat . Pryce couldn’t do a lot worse and he’s a different type to Cogger and Hastings who are basically both 7s and to samey

It is strange he hasn't gotten a run at 6, given pretty much everyone agrees Newcastle have slow plodding halves and need to replace one of them with a faster, more dangerous running player.

As someone previously mentioned his defensive qualities aren’t the best and this would be horribly exposed in the NRL which is a shame.

O'Brien thinks he isn't consistent enough.

Don’t think a single player in the Newcastle squad is what you would label as consistent.

He has been fantastic in NSW cup, one of the best players in the cup this season it’s fair to say.

Do you actually watch the NSW cup? His stats don't reflect him being "one of the best players in the cup this season"

12 appearances, 4 tries, 6 try assists, 4 line breaks and 26 missed tackles.

Hardly screams "one of the best", more so, quite average.

Yes, I’ve watched him play 3 times this year. Only player that looks good in a poor Newcastle team. Been MOTM for Newcastle pretty much every game this month. He hasn’t been terrific in defence this year but he absolutely tears up in attack.

I watch far more NSW cup than you do mate.

I have no idea how much you watch, hence the question - His stats don't quite measure up with what you are saying.

4 line breaks out of 12 games is definitely not someone who has been tearing anyone up in attack.
