Judging by previous balls ups,  the stand alone times will probably still be three games on Friday , K.O. times, 20.00, 20.05, and 20.10

Spoilers no more?

"There are concerns that moving away from their regular slots could have a derogatory impact on attendance"

Sorry, a what impact?

Anyway, it's the right thing to focus but for as long as the money from corporates exceeds the money from hoi polloi ticket sales, we are still going to have 3/4 clashes on a Friday night.

I can confirm 30+ less sales for Scotland vs Italy at Workington, after this afternoons test purchase for the Tonga match, £7.50 is extremely reasonable, however a £2.50 'delivery' fee for a walk in purchase is beyond taking the mickey, good luck with that, it's cheaper on the telly.

Really good for TV viewers. I'm be less keen as a match going fan when you are playing in a different slot every week, which makes getting to matches harder. I'm not sure clubs who have had a regular slot for many years would be too delighted.

If Sky are showing games on their main channels then they can pick the kickoff time (with a suitable notice period) otherwise clubs should set their fixtures to suit their own best interests.

Super League may be thinking that Super League + becomes a more enticing offer with staggered kick offs.

Football exploded when it became funded by TV rather than the turnstile.

We need to do the same..

We had the same opportunity at the same time.

I struggle to see how whatever proportion of SuperLeague+ subscriptions each club gets could be worth more than having control of most of your home games kickoff times. It is great for the people who want to watch every game and don't want sky, but that is a very niche group and current prices are on the cheap side.

Yes, for staggered kick-offs Sky should stump up more money.

Staggered kick-offs on the red button aren't going to result in many more viewers. I would hope that all games would be on a linear channel.
