Wow, an on-field call overruled. The VR seemed hesitant but correct call.

Wonder if Sky would mind showing us a replay of some of these incidents.

They don't until the injured player is on his feet (or stretcher).

Thought it was an illegal tackle myself. Don't think he contacts the head but should have been a penalty for the technique or lack of it.

If lack of technique was a penalty we would never get a game going, what next penalties for players being stupid, that would finish the game off.

Poor technique in that he didn't wrap his arms making it an illegal tackle.

Since both teams have struggled to score, that Wire try should see the game off.

Don't know which tackle you watched but you are wrong.

One player full front on (which was the big hit) other other only used his arm and brushed past.

Get a new telly.

Refs should really call held once both feet are off the floor with one attacker against multiple defenders.

Should call held with one foot off the ground....

Players would just lift one foot off the ground. Every coach would be on that in an instant.

I was wondering what the rule was regarding that. It looked to me as though Roberts was carried over the line by several players, which doesn't seem fair.

Or did you mean the ref should have one foot off the floor when he makes the call?
