Yep. Have to agree. Looking downwards. Batley are safe. Dons need 1 more win to be certain.

Unless they play a lot better than they did against Fax its not easy to see where that win will come from.

York's points difference currently gives them a leg up, too, although playing Wakefield away may remove or reduce that. Fev & Sheffield perhaps will want (or need) to rack up the points in their games against Dewsbury.

Equally, this weekend is Widnes v York and Sheffield v Bradford. Two home wins (not particularly unlikely?) would pretty much end York's chances.

Boo , that would take away one of our World record league game scores.😉

It would only take a 62 point loss to remove your points difference advantage. Hardly a record score.

Only? Wakefield won't beat York by 62 points.

I'm sure they won't, but they did beat you 50-6 at the LNER, and this will be a home game for them. And if we get to that point, it may be that both Fev and Sheffield will be able to claw back some of the differential in their games against Dewsbury.

This is all true, and I suspect that York will have to win three out of our fixtures against Widnes, Sheffield, Wakey and Fev to make the play-offs - no small task. I think they have it in them to win two, but 28 points might well see them losing out on points difference.

Having said that, York are a team with a bit of form at the moment, and this year's Championship has produced eye-popping results every round. Can't help thinking that four more rounds will make mugs of us all.....

Championship will go into the last round with relegation and play-offs still to be sorted. York at home to Fev on the last day of regular season should be a cracker !

I'm hoping relegation is sorted with 2 weeks to go
