I don't watch much women's RL outside of the big finals, but each time I do it is noticeable that the physicality of the players and power of the hits goes up and up.

Nervy ball control early on in this, but a good try to Saints.

I can confirm 30+ less sales for Scotland vs Italy at Workington, after this afternoons test purchase for the Tonga match, £7.50 is extremely reasonable, however a £2.50 'delivery' fee for a walk in purchase is beyond taking the mickey, good luck with that, it's cheaper on the telly.

Lovely footwork and balance by Lacey Owen for an equalising York try.

They've given the Sky pundits a glamorous spot to sit in.

York keep working hard to get good ball and then dropping it cheaply when they get it.

Entertaining match. Shambles organisation wise. Tickets sold for 2 stands yet only 1 stand was opened. Lots of people struggling to find somewhere to sit.

Yea.. I came on to mention just that.

Why have they got Tara Jane , Wilkin and 1 other person just sitting in what just looks like the concourse behind the stand.

Very obvious that York just need to drive it up and put the kick on top of the Saints winger (Hook), whose head has completely gone. But they keep pushing passes they don't need to.

York are maybe celebrating a bit too early - there's still 25 minutes to go.

Only managed to catch second half but enjoyed it.

Well done York.

Pretty comprehensive win. Scrappy game at times but Owen, Hetherington and Wood showed some quality Saints didn't match.

Decent game - York deserved winners. Looked like a not bad crowd and sounded like the atmosphere was good too.

Caught the second half on Sky. Really enjoyed what I saw; a good physical game in greasy conditions...no wonder York used the high ball on the 5th to end their sets. Saints struggled with the bombs that York kept offering them. Well played both teams

Enjoyed what I saw of that.

Why was it at Saints again?

I'm not sure, maybe they set the venue early and would naturally go with a League ground rather than hire.

It did lead to the commentary team calling Saints the home side a few times which is weird for a Grand Final.

But overall a good game and a good occasion.

No offence to Saints but I enjoy seeing York win and stay at the top of the women's game.

Decent crowd. But imagine how good it would have been with an 11am start as part of a double header with the men's GF.

I thought Ben Thaler talked his decision through really well. Key point that it didn't look to be grounded on the arm of the defender.

It was refreshing not to have the bar set so high that it's almost impossible to overrule the on field ref.

It looked like a try despite not having 100% conclusive evidence.
