You hear 'Rovers', which team do you think of?

Please, refrain from Blackburn/Doncaster/Return or Roy!

Of course those from the respective West & East Yorkshire areas will refer to the club on their door step, but yep Rovers = Fev.

On 13/2/2013, Hull City's owners the Allams, released a statement in their position as the owners of the KC Stadium Management Committee. One line in this statement read as follows....

"The SMC's principal responsibility is to remain neutral"

I voted for Featherstone but I'd now like to change it to Woolston, thus twisting another thread into one about Warrington wink.gif

Rugby League undeservedly is a small sport.

Outside of this small world of ours we have one or two names well known nationwide.

These include the Rovers of Featherstone & Hull Kingston.

Fabulous, unmistakeable brand names we can celebrate.

Let's keep them both.

I would say Hull KR are possibly the most famous Rovers team, even more so than any soccer teams.
But ultimately it's the actual phrase 'It was real 'Roy of The Rovers stuff' that is probably more famouser.

So its possibly Melchester.
