Did anyone see the aerial photos of Bristol this morning in the Metro taken with a short depth of field so it looks like a model village?

Didn't see the photos, but are you refering to tilt-shift photography? If you want to try it out for yourself, This Site lets you upload one of your own photos and have a fiddle about.

It's become a game.

Flickr, for example, has 292 public photos tagged "Vauxhall bus station" (see here).

Do you think the Met is pursuing these folk or trying to get the images deleted?

Google image search has 63,700 returns by the way for vauxhall bus station.

The shots were taken on Easter Sundayin Lyme Park nr Stockport,( where Mr Darcy Lived in the BBC production) it was blue but that was me playing with the shutter speed!

Did you have police permission, I believe a stagecoach once stopped there on route to York.

Santorini

Will be heading out there in a couple of months with as much camera gear as I can get away with.

The most photgenic of Greek Isles, in fact nearly all Greek postcards are pictures of Santorini.

Nice shot of the place by the way. Not easy to get the right exposure with all the white and bright sunshine. Considering you used a fully auto setting the camera did well to balance the picture well (unless you adjusted the exposure in post processing).

Exactly the reason this thread was started, it's not for 'serious photographers only, it's for any photos, taken with anything, from great to passable. It's for people who like taking photos, who need advice, like feedback, or just want to show what they have taken. Hopefully now the weather is getting better, we will have a few more photos posted.
