Futtocks Posted September 22, 2017 Posted September 22, 2017 One of the tracks selected on this morning's Desert Island Discs. Let me never fall into the vulgar mistake of dreaming that I am persecuted whenever I am contradicted. Ralph Waldo Emerson

Futtocks Posted September 23, 2017 Posted September 23, 2017 Rather more downbeat this time. Let me never fall into the vulgar mistake of dreaming that I am persecuted whenever I am contradicted. Ralph Waldo Emerson

Mumby Magic Posted September 24, 2017 Posted September 24, 2017 Loving flicking thru youtube via the links and coming across random 60's songs. This weeks fave: Like poor jokes? Thejoketeller@mullymessiah
Farmduck Posted September 24, 2017 Posted September 24, 2017 Every time I hear that New Radicals song I think of James Reyne (with Olivia Newton John on backing vocals on this one)

timtum Posted September 24, 2017 Posted September 24, 2017 At the moment, stags bellowing in the fields around here. Quite powerful nature stuff at work. On 6 music, bizarre sundays with a John Peel retrospective followed by Annie Nightingale. I'm transported back to Newcastle in 1982. On the new stuff, the new National album. I should have been in Manchester on Friday night to see 'em. A bit broke right now but have bought tickets to see them in Sydney next February.
Farmduck Posted September 26, 2017 Posted September 26, 2017 Been cleaning out the "dusty" digital depths of my music library. I don't understand why, in this 2005 re-master, they didn't bring the vocals up a bit in the first 2 verses.
Farmduck Posted September 27, 2017 Posted September 27, 2017 In this clip the pub is in Carinda which is having a Festival this weekend, based around the pub and red shoes:
timtum Posted September 28, 2017 Posted September 28, 2017 I was on Radcliffe & Maconie's the Chain today with this....
timtum Posted September 29, 2017 Posted September 29, 2017 While doing my delivery round today I was mostly listening to New Order. They go from the sublime to the absolutely bloomin awful.
