Big big names and would make other clubs look over their shoulder , but as Unicorn has touched on , are they affordable ? will it damage the long term ? wouldnt the outlay and effort be better on 4 younger but very good players at this level or Championship level  ?  Hock and Higham will have comfortable homes and cars and other things they are used to and manage to pay for so wont come cheap or for semi pro wages . Sammut was reportedly paid high wages by other means to bring in the crowds and solidify a Championship birth but town still ended bottom and relegated  .

Can't see it being right but would be great. Higham is a fantastic professional who's excelled at every club

I'm not doubting how good he would be for us, just concerned about the cost and how we are paying for him.

thought not , makes ya wonder where tall the rubbish on forums comes from .

In the dead-zone  that is post- season forums are full of conjecture, wishful thinking and rumour. It's what gets us addicts through the long months of inactivity. I have it on good authority that a big, experienced forward is coming to Town from " South Cumbria" . Won't name him but I'm sure he'll be announced  on the Sellafield information platform !
