Well done Carl, personally thought he had a good season with a mostly beaten pack. Funny feeling plumbob wont be his sponsor though!

Howarth to be announced I believe, also a local player as had a contract offer withdrawn, he is now speaking to Haven, disappointing but with limited budget tough decisions have to be made.

Heard haven are talking to a young winger from the brow is that who your on about

No Donald a Town player from last season.

Not sure there’s many from last seasons squad who haven’t been announced who would be too much of a miss.

Got to say the squad is looking really strong at the moment. More than happy with the resignings and new additions. Personally looking forward to seeing Gordon Maudling with a full pre-season under his belt. And also what Leon can do to improve Jamie Doran's game further.

Maybe but we need a squad not just 17 players , I would suggest that player identification last season wasn't up to scratch when young inexperienced players are not deemed good enough after 1 season.

I have no idea if this crack of contract offers being withdrawn is truth or bull, but to play devils advocate if it is true why didnt the player in question sign the contract earlier?

I assume we wont have just offered a contract yesterday and withdrew it today so unless the player in question was looking elsewhere for a better deal this sounds unlikelyto be true to me.

By the way this is in no way aimed at Phil Lister who has never been confirmed as the player in question, just mean this hypothetically!

Exactly.

Anyone stalling on a contract offer deserves everything they get.

Good to see the tail isn’t wagging the dog quite so much.
