Him and J.P.R.Williams within a month is a huge loss for Welsh RU heritage. Wolford6
Malcolm Price, possibly the best player produced by Pontypool, aged 86. Played for Wales, the Lions and Great Britain RL. I met him when he ran Todmorden ARLC. He was a very nice bloke. https://www.lionsrugby.com/2024/01/08/malcolm-price-star-of-1959-tour-dies-aged-86/ 2 Under Scrutiny by the Right-On Thought Police
Bedford Roughyed
Don't tell him Pike. RIP Ian Lavender. 4 With the best, thats a good bit of PR, though I would say the Bedford team, theres, like, you know, 13 blokes who can get together at the weekend to have a game together, which doesnt point to expansion of the game. Point, yeah go on!

Such a distinctive, enjoyable voice (Jayston) - heard in numerous TV ads of the 70s and 80s. Did loads of audio books, too, apparently.
