Good player swift, along with josh Jones that's 2 solid signings so far

Josh Jones I agree with but Adam Swift?, a player who's being kept out of the team by Regan Grace?

No thanks.

So Faraimo, Ratu, Dawson-Jones and the two young lads Buchannon and James and now Swift. So we have two front line wingers in Faraimo and Ratu (one of them replacing the released Talanoa who had personal issues from last season). Yes Ratu isn't available all the time so not sure how that's working going forward, then we have MDJ but he's either been left out (or is injured), which leaves us with two wingers who have just moved even further down the pecking order due to another external signing.

This is like Lancaster and Logan all over again, pushed out of getting first team chances by signing outside the club despite shining when given their chances due to injury and people wonder why our kids don't develop/lose hope/confidence, oh sorry let's ship em out to Donny and/or let them fester playing the odd game at a level that is even lower than Ch1.

Yeah, AS is a good player but is this really the personnel that we need/want?

Think he’s improved massively by having the competition of Regan Grace there, before it was guaranteed to be Swift on one wing and Makinson on the other. When he has come in though, he’s performed well and scored tries but Grace has improved massively this year, so it’s hard to justify Swift retaining his place for an extended period.

Not shocked to see him go as I’m sure he wants the offer of first team rugby elsewhere and I can’t see Grace or Makinson going anywhere for now, either.

I think you maybe under estimating how much Grace has improved this season.

Dawson-Jones suffered a serious knee injury in February.

Buchanan is a Centre.  I haven’t a clue who James is.

Buchanan and Logan are both centres.  Lancaster is playing RU.

3 new ‘kids’ in Brown, Wynne and Buchanan introduced to the 1st team this year.  Playing 18 year olds for the sake of it is not the way to go.  They are too young and inexperienced.

He has improved certainly, but he could hardly go backwards, certainly with Saints' dominance this season. He makes occasional breaks but, even when he's in the clear, I think there's every chance he'll be caught, he's simply not as fast as people seem to think he is.

And he's vulnerable with ball in hand near the sideline, remember Tom Briscoe single handedly picking him up and dumping him into touch earlier on this season at your place?, had Leeds not been so bloody awful and Saints the beneficieries of some questionable 50/50 calls, it may well have cost your lot the game.

How embarrassing would that have been. ?

I think I could play on the wing and we’d still turn Leeds over at the minute.

And will MDJ be injured permanently or are we getting rid? Logan is a centre who has covered on the wing, Swift is cover is he not? Charlie James is a 19 year old winger on the clubs books, maybe you should check the squad profiles out now and again.

Buchannon has played wing and considering we have centres aplenty or have you forgotten Griffin, Connor, Tumi, Logan,  then what chance does Buchannon have aside from dire injury.  Well we know what happens, Radford plays an over the hill LF/ utility forward in the shape of Washbrook at centre instead of playing the youngsters (yes, he did that last season!).

My point re Lancaster was that despite absolutely killing it and scoring for fun in an injury crisis at the back end of the season (2014 or 15) he was given no chances, got injured and then left out in the cold and hence why he left. Logan was developing nicely, what happened, we signed an Australian winger/centre, A NZ centre/stand off a Tongan winger (which meant no room for Lancaster either) so he went stale and didn't/hasn't kicked on but backs up at both wing and centre.

It's been the same old story throughout Radford's tenure with our home grown players. Turgut is another, youth international and went nowhere, Ben Crooks was SL dream team player and Radford basically blamed him (and Miller) for our 2014 performances (so dropped them both) despite us having a better win ratio with either or both playing. Basically Crooks was thrown to the fishes, his confidence dropped like a stone and now he's another that had so much potential/star quality and Radford knocked it out of him, same with Miller who despite playing for a much lower budget Wakey side has performed superbly under better coaches. Jordan Adbul is another, pulled up trees at HKR, doing very nicely at London, under Radford, yet another scapegoat!

You say that Radford has introduced young players, yeah so what, look at what he said about Litten and failed to give hoim game time continuing to favour Washbrook when Houghton was injured. But come on, how many players from our academy to debut in the last 5.5 years are actually first XVII players, I'll give you a clue. ZERO!

Radford couldn't develop a dose of the clap in a whorehouse.

Correct Grace has really come on this season. He was always a bit dodgy under a high ball, and the season started like that for him. But now he has improved so much i wouldn’t be surprised if he (on current form) isn’t on the list for the possible tour to NZ.

Good grief!

Please not, he's not a quarter of the player Makinson is. I'd have both Wire wingers in before even contemplating Grace.

(And before anybody asks, I don't own any sort of pet that Regan may have run over.)

He’ll be in the 9’s side (if Wales are there of course).
