Two former Salford players now WWE stars

I noted in the news former Salford players Luke Menzies (also of Hull KR, Batley and a few other clubs) and Daniel Vidot (also of Titans, Dragons and Raiders NRL fame) have both debuted as WWE pro wrestlers in recent months. 

i hope this perhaps gives some more exposure to Rugby League to a new audience in the US.

I'm sure the self-evident pathway that has now been established between the Salford Red Devils and WWE will result in Moor Lane becoming the Smackdown vs Raw Arena as part of a lucrative naming rights deal.

There is actually a bit of a pathway into "professional wrestling" from Rugby League. The WWE have been actively recruiting former pro athletes, and Rugby League, due to its collisions and body contact... Is one of the sports that they targeted.

If you watched his Dark Side of the Ring episode, it would be very easy to understand why he was. Very sad story. Credit to him for sorting himself out after the life he had.
