It's a bloody good depleted side that Saints are still able to put out Dav, they are in a fortunate position having so many players unavailable they can still field such a squad.

The side that got beat by Toulouse was far stronger.

Now,Now,that doesn’t fit the narrative.

The ' narrative ' included one word that you and others keep ignoring

Deliberately

Injuries and suspensions are part of the game

Because it simply has no basis in reality, if it were any other club that word wouldn't even be coming up.

We even had a game earlier in the season where Saints did deliberately field a weakened side, yet no big deal was made about that.

So is ‘resting’ players carrying knock deliberate or are they injured.

Maybe, honest answer Bob should Saints have lost that game?

The league would be a bit boring if the team that should win did so every week. As is this is sport and you can't apply a formula.

Probably not but all teams for some reason fly in and out to France same day usually. That’s a bigger impact than the team Saints put out.

That's a very strong team.

I know Wigan sent the best squad they could too and were 6 points down with 7 minutes to go. A converted try and then drop goal with 30 seconds to go was the only reason we won. Unjustly really too.

It’s certainly stronger than the team going to Wakefield yet that teams fine.

Ask Damien , he's the one who brought it up

Nothing to do it me so keep me out of it. I have not conversed with you and you have not quoted me. I have said nothing about deliberately.

You are the person that mentioned deliberately, then contradicted yourself and are now resorting to verbal gymnastics.

Get a room lads!🤗🥰

😂

Can we please keep Wiggin & Stains out of a Salford thread please... they get far too much airtime as it is!😉

Only 23° here at the minute and fairly overcast so not even sure it's gonna hit the predicted 28/29 later. Tomorrow is supposedly 38° so looks like we've got off lightly from a weather perspective.

It's a Toulouse thread as much as Salford. I do agree though it's not the place for people to moan and try and build a false narrative. Enjoy Toulouse.

I love the nitpicking about the squads teams are sending to Toulouse because they've started to pick up some wins. Teams very rarely have full strength squads at this stage of the season with injuries and suspensions. The same posters wouldn't give a damn if the same squad was playing a different team the week after.

Toulouse have barely had a full squad available all season themselves.

A lot of teams have injuries and suspensions right now. I notice that Salford's win against a very weakened Catalan Dragons team last week wasn't mentioned for example. But what more can you expect from a certain section of bitter Leigh fans that are butthurt after their disastrous relegation season. I remember many of them saying that if Leigh can't be competitive in SL no other Championship team can.

I guess they are just desperately trying to keep up the narrative.

But finally getting some continuity. Other than Guy, this is the 3rd match with the same 17. Although others on this forum believe keeping with the same players week in week out is a bad idea and squad rotation should be employed, i.e. leaving out perfectly OK players.

Not sure who forces that on teams, wether TO having to foot the bill also get to decide on the flights or it is the opposite sides decision. Salford arrived yesterday though
