All depends which swinton turn up, the one that played against Doncaster away and Rochdale at home or the one that played against Doncaster and north wales at home

Hurricanes are better than their recent scores suggest but need to put in a smarter 80-minute performance if they are to bridge the gap to the play-off places next time. I'm hoping for a repeat of the game in Cougar Town but with home advantage getting us the win.

Midlands Hurricanes 28 v 26 Keighley Cougars

Cornwall 16 v 56 Swinton Lions
North Wales Crusaders 28 v 24 Hunslet
West Wales Raiders 16 v 48 OldhaMm
Rochdale Hornets 30 v 22 London Skolars

Bloody hell, I've missed a week 🤣  So, just to catch up, we tonked WWR..

this week:-

Lions tonk cornwall

We comfortably (but not excessively) do hunslet

WWR to concede a lot less against Yeds

'Ornets to do Skolars, but closer than could be expected

Cougars to not have an off-week and easily do hurricanes 🙂

To beat Keighley it’s going to have to be a low scoring game, can’t see them conceding 28.

It's quite telling that losing at home 0-38 against by far the weakest of the heartland teams is seen as a positive after a few years. They ought to be picking up wins in games like that by now.

Are you forgetting yeds put 100 on WWR earlier in the season?

...and Cru leave it late to beat hunslet..couldn't go today but looks like I missed a good game (and saved my blood pressure a bit 😉 )

Yes, it wasn't a bad game - a neutral speccy just there for their weekly fix would have gone home reckoning they'd had their money's worth. Bit of a muddle in the first half with two Hunslet tries from interceptions. The Cru settled down after half time but as you say, left it late with Hunslet going home wondering how they managed to throw the game away with the suspicion that it was because GOD IS WELSH! and not from Yorkshire as they'd always believed. Oldham and Cornwall away next followed by the bye and then three biggies to finish - Rochdale (h), Keighley (a) and Swinton (h).

First game I've missed at Colwyn Bay since we moved. kept stopping for score updates on the way home from work and it sounded like a good advert for League 1, although not for the feint hearted Cru or Hunslet fan.

Crowd given as 870, which is pretty decent for us.

Listened to the Rochdale/Skolars game on BBC Manchester radio - very fair commentary (They mentioned 2 possible red cards for Rochdale, so will be interesting to see if match review panel takes any action & Skolars 2nd half disallowed try that would have evened the score, might not have been offside.) Commentators said Skolars really good 1st half, but didn’t take their chances and should have been much further ahead at HT. Much improved 2nd half from Rochdale to win the game.

Anyone at the game who can comment on the performance of the 2 teams?
