Tommygilf Posted March 20, 2023 Posted March 20, 2023 No pyro no party! Roughly 300 in attendance too!
Eddie Posted March 20, 2023 Posted March 20, 2023 It’s a different culture, and absolutely fine imho.

Damien Posted March 20, 2023 Posted March 20, 2023 I know it says entry is free but either way it's great to see so many people watching RL in Greece.
Madrileño Posted March 20, 2023 Posted March 20, 2023 It was Australians and the inevitable English people trying to impose their way on other cultures. The average Aussie hasn't a clue about how tiny League is in mainland Europe, and thinks everyone has it as easy as they do. There was some busybody type woman who supports Coventry Bears (I don't think they even exist any more?) who wouldn't let it lie, but thankfully she got shut down eventually by some sane minded people. Great effort by the Greeks. Their promotional photo with the captains looked more professional than the League 1 season launch!
langpark Posted March 20, 2023 Posted March 20, 2023 This was the scene at full-time... If you read the match report, you can maybe understand why. AEK's first grand final, losing 14-0 at half-time, making a big comeback and scoring in the last few minutes of the match. Report: http://bit.ly/3n3iN1B
moorside roughyed Posted March 20, 2023 Posted March 20, 2023 Looked brilliant. A good game judging by the score. Fireworks always add to an atmosphere. Hope it was enjoyed by all.
Pie tries Posted March 20, 2023 Posted March 20, 2023 Brilliant. Small acorns and all that. From a band sport - to this - via a WC. M62 sport pah !

Sports Prophet Posted March 22, 2023 Posted March 22, 2023 I was at Malta v Norway in Valletta and they had flares and drums and about 500 in attendance. Great atmosphere.
Jughead Posted March 22, 2023 Posted March 22, 2023 A game that was illegal only a few years ago being told off by people thousands of miles away on the internet is highly comical. Why didn’t they all just bundle into the nearest working mens club, smoke fags and drink mild?
