No he isn’t,I said there are idiots that don’t support the club who only show up on derby days & the unavoidable fact is they often engage with a few fellow idiots who emerge from under  their rocks North of Lowca, stop being precious.

How is it bring precious exactly, a thread about your morons fighting l, wrecking pubs, train carriages etc and you use the "others do it too" nonsense. Absolutely not needed and you know it, accept you were wrong.

Yeah that still makes no sense, but nice try.

Ho dear.... your attempt to bring Town fans into this makes no sense and is quite sad. Town fans were great on Friday and celebrated a great game and a great win - to compair them with your mob and what they did is just wrong- sometimes you really need to accept your also wrong marra.

So the common denominator is scumbags who latch onto Haven involved In Several incidents in recent years, What are Whitehaven RL doing about this reoccurring problem?

Of course it’s not all Haven supporters but it’s deffo a Haven problem!

Here's a question for you. Out of 3 games which had trouble this weekend, I wonder which club will face the worst sanctions ? By the way the home club is responsible for any incidents in the crowd, even if it's the opposition fans causing the aggro.

By the looks of it Davy is Havens expert on this and his/her only solution is to try and bring Workington fans into it for some reason..... very strange when he and his mates should be looking closer to home maybe.

You’d hope all the clubs would work together to try & stamp out the problem.

Some odd folk up at Whitehaven as lots of them are in such denial & trying to deflect all blame on to others, The train the yobs travelled on was taken out of service as they trashed it, A pub landlord posted that they smash up loads of furniture in her pub, They were taunting Barrow fans all game then 2 nd half about 50-70 of them mobbed up behind a dozen or so local lads and kept throwing beer & stuff at them, when a local lad threw something back a Haven fan in a trilby style hat came flying down the terraces & got punched out then a few dozen Haven went to his aid & the locals fought back.....The main incident video is doing the rounds.

Haven fans were throwing stuff at the Barrow players & same happened last season

The other week ther was also an incident with Haven at Batley, But its never Havens fault is it.

l

Haven't been to batley this season

I can remember Haven fans trashing a coach on the way back from Widnes after they were beaten by Cas in the 2005 play-off final....

Unfortunately its not the barmaids apron their sniffing.

Exactly you could tell the morons from Whitehaven were beaked up. Then add a bit of sunshine & stronger Lancastrian ale & it's too much for them. It's a good job the football team were away as they might have had a reception party waiting for them outside.

A beer is meant to be drunk not thrown around at each other, these young idiots must have more money than sense.

  • 2 weeks later...

Barrow Raiders have been charged by the RFL following crowd disturbance during our Good Friday defeat to Whitehaven. And have released the following statement.

The club has been charged by the RFL for failure to adhere to codes of conduct, failure to control the crowd, misconduct of spectators and conduct prejudicial to the interests of the game.

In light of this, we are aiming to try to identify and interview any supporters, either from Barrow or Whitehaven, who were either inciting violence or committing violent acts in the video (shown on Facebook)

We would be grateful if any of our supporters were able to forward names and contact details of anyone acting inappropriately in the video.

We do not want trial by social media, whereby innocent people are wrongly accused.

We ask supporters who are able to share information to do so confidentially by emailing steve.neale@barrowrlfc.com.

Our next game is away at Barrow. Do i need to purchase some body armour before hand?

Great away day/weekend, we went twice last season for weekend and saw no trouble at all. Plenty of food and drink in ground with a marquee in the ground for a drink and a chat with Barra fans after game.

Agreed, been to all 3 games since they got promoted. Good run out up there and a cracking set up. My comment was in jest.

Decent club Barrow hoppefully they start to pick up some results just not at our expense! (although i wouldnt back against it)
