Catalans penalty for a high shot on Michael McIlorum....

I'm sure some of those words could be rearranged and slightly altered for an accurate description of past events.

Sounds like it's getting messy according to the literal translation of the Catalans Twitter updates...

"78 Huge tackle from Adam Keighran which explodes the player and the ball."

Can't wait for the uproar when he escapes a ban because there's no disciplinary guidance on exploding another player. It should be a Grade C at least.

I am sure some Reds will be wishing to place an exploding rocket up wards this week.

Sort of Rocky on the ropes here, with the hope that yer fighter can resolve his seemingly defeated position and seize victory.

Like I have said SRD (club) seems OK. Someone in the staff needs to have that figurative rocket exploded vertically for collective crapiness (poor Comms, the Tyler incident and visagate), mind you.

Remember kids we are all co-owners now. We deserve better.

Salford (team) isn't but given its missing Lafai, Sarginson? Sneyd, Dupree, Wright and Watkins, and their replacements are more average than ace, I am hardly surprised.

Same old same Solly eh.........

But hey we are two points off the play offs, we have cover for away supporters, modern toilets and aren't Cas or Wakey.

Smile.😄

Its the 150th shindig next week against some lot from Merseyside.

Big party, big emotions, big crowd.

Hopefully on this occasion the Balboa Devil ko' the #### sure Saint Apollo.

💪🙃👍

Rowley is a good coach and deserves better than the hand he's been dealt at Salford tbf.

Condescending.

Today we were without 7 players who as McHaggis pointed out includes the non replaced Sarge.

Lafai

Sneyd

Sarge

King V

Watkins

Wright

Heat.

Not many teams could cope with being without 35% of their entire squad.

Hard to include Lannon or Tyler Dupree but could be argued as well.

More chance of Oliver Gildart scoring a hat trick at Wembley in two weeks than Salford winning this one.

(Sorry Tony!)

No need for an apology, mate.

On the deviltalk prediction thread, I had Catalans by 12 points. I should have gone for 42.

If you've got half an hour, check out the Deviltalk website. The meltdown on there is both immense and hilarious. Half a dozen wins and some fans think we're set for a GF win, half a dozen defeats and those same fans think we'll implode like that poor submarine.

Keep well, OF. And keep smiling. Like me. 😪

Yeah Tony that's the nature of fans forums. Visceral and emotional.

Talking of support. Massively heartened by the widespread praise within France for the Salford away support, including Les Dracs players coming across to applaud them.

The best.

I thought Salford having Croft and Brierley back would be a lift. The opening 12 mintes indicated that until  Keighran came up with those two same scores for 12-0. But slowly Catalans took over especially with the try score on the half-time whisle from May.

I cannot understand what is going on with the Samoa lad if he is staying next seasion. We know Keighran and Chan are going to Wigan defintively. Both excellent Saturday. The club have never worked like this. More money in Lancashire than Guasch land maybe..

Nah it was his assistant who was responsible for the good wins really 🙂

That doesn't make sense.

You mean "Nah the responsibility for the good wins really isn't with the assistant but his old boss." Which still doesn't make sense.

Although if Rowley-ball has deflated, I am sure it can be easily reflated by all the hot air emanating from certain former supremos at the AJ Bell of Entertainment. 😆

SRD Co-owners are invited to a Q and A and witness the Captain's Run this Friday. Erm should be erm robust.
