For the avoidance of any doubt, the Huddersfield-Swinton Park score was 119-2. This is now corrected on the RKC website - apologies for the error here, and thanks to those that raised it on here. Whil

This is a more interesting subject. The highest scoring draw is still Leeds 46 Sheffield 46 as far as I know.

I remember that game very well - it was Sheffield who scored 60  (at least 4 interception tries from memory) with Fev scoring 40.

Less than a month later Halifax also scored 60 at Post Office Road.

But between those two games -and 100% not unrelated to those two scores - Fev beat Castleford in the Cup and then led Wigan until the stroke of half time in the next round.

I've always known it as 119-2 as it was printed in teh programmes and Rothmans growing up so was always etched in my mind.

There seem to be more online sources saying it was 119-2.  Including the clubs own website.

I was checking various sites because I was trying to find the list of scores... how many tries, conversions, penalties because I would like to translate it into a total using today's points system.

Major Holland didn't kick all the goals.

Mind you, we're assuming that there were no drop goals.

Quite a coincidence that this would have been aggregate 146 the same as Huddersfield 142-4 Blackpool, 1994.

146-2 would have been more than 142-4.

That's how I see it.  Again, assuming no drop goals which would be one point in new money.
