What's everybody's take on Rivals (Easter) Round? Is a 90k aggregate achievable?

I really like the look of this, perhaps the only thing I would have changed, would have been for Wire play at home, which would likely add a few thousand on to the overall total.

More evidence for the every game must be at a different time theory.

Not keen myself, the streaming money better be good!

As correctly suggested, rivals round is a rubbish description.

How unobtainable will a ticket to FC v KR be for a non season ticket holder?

Yes but I believe Wire holds about 3k more. And I believe this could sell out at either venue. Anyway, I didn't want to nitpick, but worth mentioning.

Oh yes definitely but warringtons crowds seem to have gone down significantly over the last few years, despite them doing well in 2024, while Leigh’s are booming. The latter know how to sell an event, other clubs should take note.

Agree.  Wire holds 15,000 and is a big (mainly) prosperous town but quite a lot of the fan base like myself are sick of our CEO’s “cool” marketing BS these last 6/7 years with nonsense signings and antagonising marketing campaigns producing exactly ZERO SL titles.  We’re a joke….

That's pretty much a perfect round and the right venues to get a record SL round crowd.

Leigh will sell out a good few games this season, with or without the big local teams visiting.

Will be interesting to see what the do with the capacity overall and make the South stand reserved seating as the restricted Capacity of 10300 is significantly lower than the 12005 for which the stadium is (originally 12700)

I feel attendances will be well up next season, especially with the re-introduction of Wakefield.

Their relegation has done them the world of good !!

Biggest dent to the capacity is in the North Stand but I don’t think we’ll ever see a point where it gets to the full 3,768 for a variety of reasons (currently 2,886)

South going to reserved seating would only work if it was for home fans. Causes far too many issues when trying to implement reserved seating en masse for away fans.

Having the stage in the East Stand loses a good few hundred, too.

So frustrating that some clubs can't release attendances.  Should be penalised in IMG points

What annoys me is why they don’t want to, it’s always happened in rugby league and every football team well down the pyramid does it too, right down to the 6th tier of non league at least. What’s to hide?
