I’m not saying it doesn’t happen just that it is being reffed incorrectly imo. That rule was brought in to cover players passing stood up as the ref shouted held I don’t think it should be used on players who are tackled to the floor. As was said earlier they should know themselves that they are tackled.

Correct to an extent, It was brought in to cover players not hearing the "held" call, particularly a problem in a noisy stadium.

The two sin bins killed the game I dispair at the games direction at present the rfl insist on magic weekend then shaft the spectacle by tedious reffing.

The two sin bins weren't tedious reffing, the Salford players clearly hit the Leigh players high. Especially Ryan's yellow.
