sentoffagain2 Posted November 17, 2024 Posted November 17, 2024 With this signing Lacans could be cover for the half back positions and number 9 interchange with Jones who does play better off the bench.Could this mean we are not in for Jubb?.We may not need another number 9 now.Like the fact we are giving younger players a chance rather than some ex SL who have disappointed in the past. 1
Rovers fev Posted November 17, 2024 Author Posted November 17, 2024 Herring played at 9 a few times last season in NSW cup, I think he will be the backup to Reynolds and lacans and will fill in at 9 if needed surely we aren’t still getting Callum turner unless we see him as a fullback as cover for aekins

I don't think it'll be the case though, I think 2 of the 3 will play with 2 specialist centres so long as everyone is fit.

Looking strong with the players we’ve brought in I think it's still difficult to say as there was mention of some players retiring but they haven't been announced yet, and we haven't had confirmation yet of a couple of players about whether they will be with us next year (notably Nakubuwei). Plus the likelihood of further additions still to be announced. "I won’t engage in a debate because the above is correct and if anything else is stated to the contrary it’s incorrect."
Monkeymagic22 Posted November 18, 2024 Posted November 18, 2024 We were heavily linked with Hatton, and that lad from Dewsbury. We need a specialist centre, not wingers playing in unfamiliar positions.
POR Posted November 18, 2024 Posted November 18, 2024 (edited) After the jamboree of recent signings I wonder what's next a re-signing like Brad Day a rumour mill like Carlos Tuimavave or a new new signing like Clay Webb with the recent announcements we have eighteen on the books so with the penchant in recent seasons of ending up in the mid twenties means we've got lot's to look forward to Edited November 18, 2024 by POR
The Phantom Horseman Posted November 18, 2024 Posted November 18, 2024 3-year deal announced for Brad Day, which I think is effectively a two-year extension as I think he was already contracted for 2025. Fair enough as he was very solid for us last year winning the players' and coaches' POTY awards. 3 "I won’t engage in a debate because the above is correct and if anything else is stated to the contrary it’s incorrect."

coolie Posted November 18, 2024 Posted November 18, 2024 I'm sure someone can answer this question Why have you signed Callum Turner????? You've just signed another Halfback You've already a couple of more experienced players in that position Where you going to play him Fullback?? O'connor is a far better fullback and gives far more attacking options than Turner. Just don't get it
