Danny Brough and more recently Jake Connor, the south stand at Headingley were always less than complimentary about him, ironically he's now the world's best player!!!.

I think there was a period in the early-mid 00s where Huddersfield had:

- Paul Reilly

- Brandon Costin

- Paul March

- Sean Penkywicz

All fitting wearers of the moniker. Plus Darren Fleary and Jim Gannon, neither of whom were little but bloody rough.

Nat wood probably punched all of them at one time or another

Paul Bishop.

Watching some old Sydney competition matches on YouTube from the early 70s it's clear that he was well taught by his dad. The number of times you see Tommy Bishop get a rabbit punch in during the tackle (then invariably hiding behind big Cliff Watson when it all kicked off) is amazing 😆

Of the current crop I'd say Welsby, Lewis, Brierley and Tomkins all play into it and love getting a reaction.

Saw George Flanagan Snr mentioned and Ben Reynolds and would agree with both. Deliberately winding up opposition fans every week. Although Reynolds can do what he likes frankly after winning a CC for the Leythers.

Always used to get far too annoyed by Scott Murell at fax too. Celebrating every opposition mistake like they'd just won the league! 🤣

I'm not sure if he was widely perceived this way but I remember a friend of mine (a Bulls fan) giving me text updates of a Leeds game whilst I was on holiday years ago used the horrid scrote description for Lee Smith. So he's always the first person I think of.

Agreed. I remember him at Wembley in 2010, were. 20-0 up at the time, he scored for Leeds and for a minute or so  looked as if he wanted to spark a kick off!

I remember thinking at the time what a "(cannot write word on this forum!)"

I lived near Cronulla and went to most home matches during those years.

Thanks for bringing back wonderful memories especially of the Cronulla v Manly GF in 1973.

Perhaps the most brutal of any I have attended since arriving in Aus in 1968.
