Roughyed Rats Posted January 24 Posted January 24 After resting over half the team midweek, looks like we are back to more of a first team squad (apart from injuries to the likes of JT and PLT and George yet to join us) for this weekend’s challenge cup game against Mayfield. 1

Isn't PLT in the Hull KR squad for their pre-season match against York in Amsterdam?

m brooksy Posted January 24 Posted January 24 I'd go something like this. Dixon, Mo, Thornley, O'Keefe, Tyrer, Craven, Drinkwater, Dudson, Wildie, Farnworth, Ashurst, Forster, Milner. subs: Aldridge, J Chap, T Chap, Moran. Dixon looked dynamite at full back on Wednesday. Tyrer is too good not to play and deserves to keep his spot. 2

shrewsbury roughyed Posted January 26 Posted January 26 Pretty much a first choice team out today, possible exception of Sambou who I think O’Keefe would replace.
Bert Street Posted January 26 Posted January 26 What's the record for the quickest hat trick by an Oldham player?

Happyed Posted January 26 Posted January 26 Good run out that. Lots of positives and a great dig from mayfield 1
clifford Posted January 26 Posted January 26 All things said, early kick off and amateur opposition not a bad crowd 1

m brooksy Posted January 26 Posted January 26 Professional and decent performance without being excellent. Mayfield were very decent and kept at us throughout the game. The halves looked so much better with Craven and Drinky back in the team with Craven in particular leading the team. Mo was outstanding and proved he should be given more opportunities with the ball , Mayfield couldn't tackle him . Thornley was superb as his centre setting up the majority of his tries and scoring two himself. Dudson and Milner looked a lot better this week, Dudson proving very hard to tackle and Milner with excellent passing close to the line. Think O'Keefe should be the centre if Turner is out. Sambou will be a excellent player in the future but his defensive reads are still all over the place. Hopefully if Lawton is fit in two weeks time we should nearly have our best team available for the Barrow cup game when the season starts proper. 3

Bedford Roughyed Posted January 27 Posted January 27 2 With the best, thats a good bit of PR, though I would say the Bedford team, theres, like, you know, 13 blokes who can get together at the weekend to have a game together, which doesnt point to expansion of the game. Point, yeah go on!
