A couple of seasons they would have given you a very tough test,but the've lost quite a few players and are in a bit of a rebuilding phase,a top club and speaking to some last week I think they are bringing a good support up to Cumbria.

Given what Macca has said in paper with 4 injuries from last week to assess before kick off and no dr I don’t think we’ll be able to field 17 if those 4 all failed. Squad of 21 less Ryan, fui and Clayton plus those 4 leaves 14 plus Worthington. Hopefully Miller, Tickle, Dawson and Barnes are fit. Just shows with a small squad you are constantly on a knife edge with injuries. Hopefully we’ve had our bad luck over the last few seasons and apart from Ryan get no further serious knocks. UTT

So why would we let a player go and get cup tied ? That seems strange if the case . These are the games to get these players in if you wish to rotate one or key players or not risk knocks

Do you mean Clayton Sutton? He played in the cup for Distington before he signed for us. He's been cup tied since day one

With it being cup i wouldn't expect any DR so Rooke should start on the wing? I thought clayton sutton would be making his debut as well but he has been named in Distington's 19 for Keighley away

Must have been released by town then if he's in the distington squad tommorow

Reds called off today which was a shock because BP never suffered from flooding it could be touch and go if the forecast is correct.

State of the reds pitch at the end of last week's game it's no surprise, they need a new pitch urgently
