jamescolin
York can't have promotion without a regular ground to play on. Perhaps they will be first to take this option.
marklaspalmas
I think it'd be hilarious if Fev ended up lending our training pitch to a club based here......... https://www.fevarchive.co.uk/

Blue Pike
I couldnt give a toss about him and I wish him all the worst. When he got injured at Fev the club spent time and a grrat deal of money to get him back to full fitness only for him to use us and at the end of it knowingly moved to Leigh.Bye bye and good ridence. That sounds uncharitable and inaccurate. He was rarely injured and gave the club good service. Sam Smeaton had a long injured spell. Perhaps you are confusing the two? https://www.fevarchive.co.uk/
fev4evatiggerneva
Good luck to him hes a good championship player, maybe sl squad player at best. Still struggling to see how a load of yorkshire and lancashire lads playing at other side of world every other month, will benefit the game, but hey ho thats rugby league. Perhaps you are confusing the two?I may have confused the two but im not sure .I got told this from soneone sho works close to the club but even so after seeing one of our better players leave us for one of our main rivals on better money to have an influence on beating us narrowly in crucial games do you not blame me to have a negative effect on this player??? Of course, everyone is entitled to their own opinion, but I see it differently. And this applies to all former players, not just GW. We signed a raw kid from Huddersfield and built him into a decent centre over four years. Sound on defence, a little pace but no real flair, he was part of a very successful Rovers team. Ive never met him but he seemed like most RL players to have no air or arrogance about him, and his family were all big fans and well integrated at the club. He gives us four years, played about 100 matches, put his body on the line and got paid for it. Then Dessy at Leigh comes along offering silly money and he takes it. No fuss, no disrespecting Fev, and he leaves. That's life. Im not interested in him any more as he's not Fev, but I really don't get "I wish him the worst" at all. For what it's worth, Sam Smeaton the same. He came through a long rehab and then left us. These are blokes with a limited time to try and make a living, with houses and young families. Sheffield offered more brass, he goes. In the same way we have acquired just about all our current first team squad, offering them better conditions or monmey than they were on elsewhere. Many many Fev legends moved on to other clubs at some stage of their career. https://www.fevarchive.co.uk/

Blue Pike
Canada is by far one of the most beautiful unspoilt countries in the world.Ten years ago I had the chance with a sponsor to live and work over there in a similar engineering role as I was working as over here.It also posesses fthe best musky and pike fishing waters in the world but sadly our lass didnt want to go due to our first grand child was close to being born so I missed my chance. On saying all this I cant get the logistics side at all apart from the North pole this has got to be the nost craziest location to have a rugby team.On a more positive note whats done is done and I will probably go there in 2018 to watch Fev and combine my fishing interest while our lass shops in the big city.Quite a nice thought really. Friends over there very sceptical about the planned introduction. They are not too keen on even American football. I've seen canadian footy (the 3 down version) a few times. BC have 30k crowds and the allouettes have a very similar crowd level....I hope it takes on. I'm off 2018 if we're in the same league "I love our club, absolutely love it". lingard
My mother in law lived in BC until she passed last year and the father in law is still over there although he has dementia and in a home. He used to love his RL and enjoyed watching it over there when he could get it on TV. He always said that given a fair crack RL would be an overnight smash and there was no comparison to the game they called football. I demand to have some booze, I want it here and I want it now! The only issue I have with Toronto, don't forget they tried to buy us in 2014, is with the #######torm our former coach left as he did his utmost to destabilise the club imo In RL terms I wish it to be a great success and ignite a NAmerican pro league

craigfev
Yeah i have seen their squad in this months magazine. They will be the team in that division. Barrow, Probably their nearest challengers. Nearly all the squad has played for Leigh. Rowley connection of course.
