Nice original version, more melodic than Elvis Costello. I prefer Elvis's take though, it's got more " attack ". I like that in a record.

Playing some Joe Tex today - " Hold On To What You've Got ". A real stone cold soul classic.

" Show Me " and " The Love You Save May Be Your Own " aren't bad either. 

There's some terrific black and white film of him doing these live on YouTube from the 1960's.
