Just heard it from a mate at Leigh.

If thats the case it kind of fits and  probably goes some way in explaining JD's departure 

Looking back with hindsight, I've got to take that if Campbell really wanted JD he could have tied him into a contract long ago..... but unless I'm way off beam... hasn't or is non-plussed about him leaving.

After the Griffin situation Duifys days were numbered. Perhaps MC kept him on then to avoid any payout.

Why agree an extention earlier in the year then? Feels like a combination of issues to me.

Just got back in and was going to post something along similar lines. The more I've thought about it the more I'm convinced that it's a manufactured situation given that Duffy's been linked with Leigh for quite a while
