Bobby Farrell was a lot of things, most of them strange. But he wasn't the singer, no.

he died on the same date as rasputin - in the same hotel rasputin died in - beat that for an obituary thread fact! lol

His daughter is a recording artist, releasing under her first name Zanillya.

Was watching the latest Time Team Official vid on YouTube last night when it mentioned it was in memoriam of archaeologist Mark Corney who had been a specialist on many of the Roman digs on the programme.  Can't find anything online about it or a post here, but it mentioned he passed away late last year.  Always admired his breadth of knowledge.

I watched an interview with Boney M's lead female vocalist Sheyla Bonnick some years ago and she was asked about Bobby Farrell touring solo under the name "Boney M". She gave him credit for his audacity due to the fact that all he could do was "dance a bit".

With the best, thats a good bit of PR, though I would say the Bedford team, theres, like, you know, 13 blokes who can get together at the weekend to have a game together, which doesnt point to expansion of the game. Point, yeah go on!
