Colin Rovers are not the only club with idiots, the Rovers idiots ` sadly on a roll at the moment with their unique and costly brand of supporting the club

Whatever happened at the game you quote it does not make things right. Leigh no doubt have some idiots, but at the moment they are not costing their club tens of thousands of pounds.

We can all point to things that have gone off in the past but 2 wrongs don't make a right. We need to root out our own problem and get our own house in order before we cast aspersions on other clubs.

Think we have the same steward's too

Utter jobsworths.

They'll come down like a tonne of bricks on a 60 year old having his say, then turn their backs on fans stepping over the mark as they've had a few too many.

They charge the blinking earth for their services too,we have to have them, but yet Batley don't and employ their own fans as steward's....work that one out.

We have a better class of people over the valley from Dewsbury, and are civilised enough to not need policing. ?

Joking apart, I think fans segregate themselves at the Mount, without the need for anything official.

Most of the away fans stand behind the posts and usually swap ends at half time if the weather is decent, otherwise they stay put in the covered stand at the top. Most Batley fans are split between the seated stands, (with some of the older away fans), and the terraces either side of the main stand. Therefore, there is very little interaction between the sets of fans and nothing to really Steward.

At Dewsbury, everyone tends to mix on the terraced side, Dewsbury fans toward the industrial estate end, and the away fans towards the road end, with everyone mixing in the middle. Therefore it is easy to start goading each other at close quarters after a few sherberts, which is when the trouble starts and hence needs to be stewarded.

Maybe Fev should adopt a similar policy and just request the away fans go behind the posts?

Its cool to impress your mates. Unfortunately thats how its been since I was a kid.

I bet you got the odd slap from your elders when you did though, sadly missing today. One of my favourite moments was watching away fans at HP throwing a lad on the pitch for the bill to deal with  - he was shouting racial abuse at Des Drummond and they self policed.

The majority of the fans care for the Club and they are the answer to the mindless moronic minority shame them out of the Club £10000 equivalent to 555 paying adult supporters wasted because the MINDLESS MORONICMORONS are just that and unlikely to change, identify every last one and get then banned MAJORITY RULE - POWER TO THE DECENT PASSIONATE ROVERS FAN point out the morons.
