Eddie
I’ve been reading these forums for ages but have only just registered and this is my first post, so go easy on me! Does anyone know what Tony Adams has been doing as President if the RFL, if he is even still involved (a quick google doesn’t say he isn’t). I was hoping that as a well known sportsperson (especially not one from the Heartlands) that he’d be involved with raising the game’s profile nationally, as well as mental health issues in sport, but since the fanfare around his appointment I don’t think I’ve read anything else about him or his involvement. Does anyone know?
Padge
President is an honorary position with no admin purpose at all other than attending some nice functions. Leeds Wire
Welcome to the forum Eddie. I'm fairly certain that Tony Adams hasn't joined the RFL yet, but I think he replaces Andy Burnham quite soon. Edit - I knew I'd seen it somewhere, he starts next month https://www.rugby-league.com/article/54073/tony-adams-mbe-to-become-rugby-football-league-president
Number 16
Call me a cynic, but I'm always wary when someone's debut post has negative connotations.
Eddie
Nothing to be cynical about, and it wasn’t negative I was just wondering what he’s been up to as there’s been nothing in the media about it.
