Shouldn't we show a little loyalty to OT.

Didn't they knock back a big union match a few years ago?

Rugby Union the only game in the world were the spectators handle the ball more than the players.

By the time the Glazers get round to doing anything with OT, the redevelopment thats underway at Anfield will have been completed and id expect the GF to move there temporarily.  Purely based on the fact it will hold 6k more than the Etihad.

However we could be talking years away so there could also be other grounds that have been redeveloped by then

City may have built their arena by then which potentially introduces another dynamic for the wheelchair final. Could play the women’s final at Academy Stadium too and all of a sudden all three finals are on the same site.

Union/United as in the UAE

Ironic that, considering the states of the UAE have different airlines for each. Etihad is an Abu Dhabi based and funded operation only!

Back end of 2023 i believe. Could be great for us to jump on board and utilise all of Sport Citys facilities.

A few years ago i attended the Bulls v Fev womens GF at one of the Etihad academy stadiums, what a great set up they have across the whole campus.

Fairly sure that was at the Regional Arena which isn’t actually part of the City portfolio. The Academy Stadium is a proper intimate rectangular stadium that would be perfect for the women’s final.

The Regional Arena and the Academy Stadium are the same thing.

Last new RL ground (96): Queensway Stadium - North Wales v South Wales 25/6/17

The new RFL facility with 900 seater stand will appear in the top right hand corner of this photo near the blue  national soccer facility ( currently closed ).

Manchester Rangers used to play at the Regional Arena.

Anyone interested in that new RFL set up can get a good read by googling  ' Manchester City planning applications'  and search ' Kylemore Way' . In the documents list the Design and Access statement at the bottom gives you everything you need to know. Pretty exciting stuff and forward looking for a change.......
