Does he like his dad or no.

“I had this trick where I’d throw the knife out,” John says, motioning away from his body with the right hand. “Then catch it again with my left.

“And mostly, it worked. But that one day, I guess my left hand was a little slow …”

“So I told him to walk it off.”

“No,” Tyson interjects, “you blamed me.

“I was crying, knife in my chest, and you said it was my fault because I started the game.

“But I knew the truth … you were just worried about what mum would say”.

“Absolutely, I was,” dad agrees. “Because your mother has always babied you”.

Crazy right there. And mothers are always the loving ones 😂😂😂

Our lads don't stand a chance in the World Cup against these hardened madmen.

Jack Wighton's versatility should ensure him a spot. With Holmes and Mitchell in the squad Edwards is not needed as back up to Teddy.

However off form or inconsistent I’d have Fifita in a 24 man squad because he’s so freakish and capable if you need something extra , even if it’s intermittent

Fair enough it was between him or Gagai

I would agree with that.  The suggested squad on the whole looks good but with DCE, Hunt and Cleary as more classic 7's, if Munster were unavailable there would be an imbalance in the halves with no significant running threat.

Wighton offers cover in the centre and at 6 so I would add him over Edwards.

Mitchell could also play 1 so there's no point in Martin as a back up.

with the wc just round the corner our biggest worry has to be a lot of the names been put forward for eng on this forum are either currently injured- way off form or past their peak

I know Bono and he knows Ono and she knows Enos phone goes thus

Selwyn Cobbo could be a good bet for the wc top try scorer if selected - just watching  him scoring for fun against the knights

It wouldn't be boring that's for sure.  He is a line breaking and tackle busting machine.  Plus the highest number of errors of any NRL winger so its rocks or diamonds, but never boring.

I am slightly surprised that nobody has mentioned Nicho Hynes to be in the Aussie squad on the basis that he can cover every position from 1 to7.

The Oz pack can't compete with the NZ one and for once NZ has a reasonable spine (Smith, Hughes, Brown, Manu) and that combination might be enough to make up for a less inspiring three quarter line.

Josh Schuster makes himself unavailable for Samoa to concentrate on 2023

I don't think he's fit enough to play nrl and international level. I'm glad he took it off because he looked really unfit this season

I wouldn't mind seeing Lewis Murphy in white - erm blue.

Might be good to have a dash of youth on the flank. The kid looks to have a bucket-load of confidence at the moment.
