Walked out of Fax v Widnes early in the second half.

Fax pathetic and gutless, they’ll need to do something radical to get my custom back

A workmanlike win for Fev against Keighley, who defended manfully, but of more concern to Fev are injuries to Arama Hau, who had to be carried off on a stretcher following a head injury, and Luke Briscoe, who also had to be helped/carried off with a knee injury that didn't look good.

Fev have pretty much secured top spot now (would need four Fev defeats, four Toulouse wins and a points difference turnaround of about 230 points) but still have to play those four league games and like every team will be anxious to avoid further injuries.

Apparently they improved after you left.  Don't know if there was any connection.🤨

I work hard for my living, I expect the players to do the same, a number of them today had given up in the second half

Hau was laughing and waving on the stretcher and came back out and tried to get on pitch, Dr had to take back to dressing room. Should be ok after a couple of weeks.

Just back from Halifax, admit I travelled more in hope than expectation. Thought we might roll over for them after last week but had a very pleasant journey home. Got a little anxious in the last ten minutes, especially with the penalties given against us but all in all a good day. Special shout out to Ryan Ince who was outstanding, scored a hat trick, kept Walmsley quiet and was a handful every time he ran the ball.

Just because you think everyone hates you doesn't mean they don't.

Did they play this game at Thrum Hall?

At many points during this game I thought I would probably have had more fun standing in the freezer isle at Asda where the old Scratchin shed used to be.

Not much to say on this one. To me it was a really poor quality game of Rugby League. Despite the score I don't think Fax ever looked like winning and we look a team that can't wait for the season to end. I honestly don't think we would have beaten anyone in the league today with that performance and I think its only because Widnes are not that great themselves that they somehow managed to let us have a sniff but even then with 10 minutes to go and camped on the Widnes line 8 points behind we still managed to come up with 3 early tackle errors that we have become acustomed to this season.

Good chance this will be our worst finish in 4 years which just happened to be the season that Richard Marshall left and our 2nd worse finish in over 15 years and nothing quite screams like that maybe a change of coach is needed like performances this season.

Did anyone have Halifax down to (possibly) finish 9th? No, me neither.

Still, they got a cup.

Sheffield v London next week. Should be a belter. Sheffield haven't had back to back wins for months.

There still seems to be a few of our fans that are quite happy with how we have gone this season and thats despite the majority of people not having us down to finish outside the top 4 and we were discussing today if at the start of the season we would have taken 8th place but it meant that we got to see our team win at Wembley. I'm really undecided on that as much as I enjoyed Wembley I wasn't nervous about the game and it was a nice day out but there is just something about play off rugby that I really enjoy especially when the prize at the end of it is so big.

Have the faith more going on than you think there:)

Faith? Fan estimates of between 300 and 400 in attendance at the last 2 games. Given Hughes target of 5000 per game is due by this seasons end and the current average is now lower than at Ealing, I sincerely hope that your alluded inside knowledge includes a new owner with incredibly deep pockets and the ability to employ competent staff. I attended academy games at The Stoop with crowds of over 1,000 back in 2008 and I have to say that it does seem that even the die hard fans are now starting to drift away. A great many I went with no longer bother and now attend Football or Union, which is very sad, but indicative of Hughes's attitude towards fans.

As for the play offs? Anything can happen in knock-out footie, but ask yourself how will the other SL clubs feel about London back in the top flight?

They would love London back as they would be guaranteed not to be relegated.

Let me guess, up against 14 plus 2 clowns on the sidelines and London were the dirtiest team you've ever played.  😂

Idiot comment I was there today first half we were poor and allowed London to have all the ball (you can’t defend all game and win). Second half we were better and won the half 12/10 so some positives to take from the contest.
