According to the Hull Daily Mail,has signed for Hull KR for the 2024 season. Best of luck to him, been given the opportunity to go full time, will be hard for him to get in the starting line up though.

As long as KR pay his wages. If he’s gone he’s gone. We need to utilise his money to strengthen the team. All for letting him stay for development purposes but let them pay his wages.

Can't see him displacing Matt Parcell, who's contracted to end of 2024. Maybe they see him as a long term replacement and we get him back on a season long loan like Hooley for 2024.

I understand work commitments will mean Sam will be missing next season.

Talks are ongoing with all the players that Dale wants to keep. Sam Day had a arrangement with Liam over his working arrangements,hopefully he can have the same with Dale.

The difference might be that players generally train more evenings in the Championship than they do in C1. This was the reason that Sam left originally. 

You can't blame players for looking after their main source of income. I would love to see Sam back but, if not, all the very best for your future.

Do the SL teams keep paying full time wages when the players come to Dewsbury ??

I’m not sure how it financially works for the players when they flip between SL on full time and Championship on part time.

If only I could predict lottery numbers....

But great to have him back. With Reiss and Dale Ferguson getting back to fitness, at least team is getting stronger.

Unfortunately I can’t see him influencing the team enough to entertain victory, especially in the two weeks we have him back.

Loan deals have to be for a minimum of two weeks but can be extended almost indefinitely. Hence he may be with us for much longer than just two weeks.

Regarding payments to the player his contract with HKR will ensure that they pay him the full amount to which he is entitled. What loan payment we may pay to HKR is determined by the agreement between the clubs

Few comments from Eagles fans on their FB Supporters page about how well he stood out on Friday.

Regular SL action might be a bit too soon for him due to how well HKR are going so Rams might end up having him for the season, seen as the London move was very short-lived.

Reeks of Fev snagging him on dual-reg, though.
