I hope Leak and Burton get a chance to become our first time hooking pair. Also, just to be controversial, l hope Woods gets a chance to play his own game rather than be considered a like for like replacement for Gilmore, which he never was.

Also, some pace in the backs - especially on the wing.

Pace is a must and if Riley leaves need 3 more younger fowards as brown and gledhill now coming to a time were injurys and age now starting to take its toll on them

Controversial? Woods has been the problem with the majority of the luke warm attack this year.

He is like for like. A 7 for a 7. Weaklink though

'Shaw cross juniors, Birkenshaw, Mirfield, Heckmondwike Panthers, Stainland Stags and then the Heavy woolen donkeys... WARDY, STOZZA, GT, KARL OR KEAR MUST OF DROPPED A DIGIT FROM MY MOBILE NUMBER! :clapping:

Disagree. Not all those who play in the same number play the same. During that run of tough close wins earlier in the season Woods was outstanding.

30 is not old for a prop 😂

Exactly K we FEV have two 37's and one 36 and were doing OK with the elder statesmen

Rourke was in my mind in case we don't get Aiden back, it's filling one gap left open last season. Agree with Burton now getting a regular spot. Also Bennion or Brogan from Swinton.  We need another prop along the lines of Alex Rowe, a line buster. Doubt there's any argument about Reilly going but can't see any other club getting more out of him. Tubbs obviously thought the same when he let him come! When Kear brought Gledhill back from Oz as a goal-kicking 2nd rower can't believe he was young enough to only be 29 now! Thing is, injuries are starting to worry a few regardless of age.  Wing....Boafo? Any Cas lads needing a home? Langtree fine 2nd rower....let's see (quickly) who have been on Mokko's back to come here and who's coming in. Woods; watched an old game v Thunder when he ran at us and made stuff happen, hasn't done anything other than drop off passes, no regular 40/20 efforts on his own pitch, never nipped through a line. Maybe a new game plan required?

Heard you have signed Josh Rourke from Haven. Great signing for you if true.

I heard we made him an offer, but he had been offered more money by Keighley and was likely to sign for them. However, that was before Keighley were relegated.

We Can't announce our replacements Just yet , as the NRL & SL Play-Offs are still taking place.

Very funny BB, love the optimism, even I'm not that daft! Absolutely no reason why the information tap can't be turned on at a trickle though!

i heard Mike Ford at Oldham had been sniffing round Ward and White, as they are both local Oldham lads.

Wardy has got a new job teaching at school in Cleckheaton and was talking about next season when we were in Toulouse and Buchanan did mention he doesn't want to sign for anyone else as loving his rugby and time at the dogs

Surely the club can announce which players have signed for next season and those who have formally announced their retirement?

Yes they can F FEV announced James Lockwood is retiring at end of season so Sunday in his last league game he was applauded by the fans and  the  FEV  and Widnes teams when he came on the pitch
