Since the BBC started showing the early rounds, they have rarely picked a dud.

When you consider that even the best-matched cup tie on paper can occasionally disappoint, that's pretty remarkable.

Sounds like Siddal were going really well at 6-6 until, just as we feared, Trinity tried to draw them into a niggly and scrappy game with cards.

Possibly so. Thought I didn’t discredit Siddal. They are certainly putting up a fight and fair play to them for that.

Hammersmith leading Wests Warriors 16-0 at half time.

Hammersmith by far better side and their 3 tries could have been more as they went close a few times and got the ball over the line once without grounding. 

Only really two periods of pressure from Wests in the whole half and if they turn this around it will be a very good comeback.

Hammersmith score again to make it 22-6.  That feels like the end of the Warriors comeback as they have put a lot into this half and still 16 behind.
