DavidM Posted April 18, 2024 Posted April 18, 2024 I think he’s a fantastic talent , one of the best in the world and it’s a crying shame he’s chosen obscurity , hopefully it’s for a short period . I hope he enjoys the payday 1
graveyard johnny Posted April 18, 2024 Author Posted April 18, 2024 apart from anything else he should be the spearhead of the kiwi national side in a period of dominance over the kangaroos which was so evident as they crushed them in the autumn 1 I know Bono and he knows Ono and she knows Enos phone goes thus

I hope he enjoys the payday I don't think anyone is questioning him being talented, just the hyperbole around him being a generational talent. He is a loss to his club and possibly national team, not really the sport, no player is ever big enough for that in my opinion.

DoubleD Posted August 13, 2024 Posted August 13, 2024 Rumours continue swirling, despite denials, that Manu's retirement will be short lived, and he could be back at the Roosters mid season in 25 1
Dunbar Posted September 19, 2024 Posted September 19, 2024 The All Blacks don't select players playing outside of New Zealand (unless they are established internationals granted a sabbatical). Manu signs to play Union in Japan and sees his All Blacks dream 'slipping away'. There is some nonsense written. He wants a bucket load of cash. If that's his decision then fair enough, I do my job for the money, not the passion. 5 "The history of the world is the history of the triumph of the heartless over the mindless." — Sir Humphrey Appleby. DavidM Posted September 19, 2024 Posted September 19, 2024 I don’t know if he’s drifting away already because for a brilliant player his form hasn’t consistently been what it was . He needs a big game at the weekend
eal Posted September 19, 2024 Posted September 19, 2024 I think Manu meant to say he isn't interested in the money on offer in Super Rugby. 2

Wellsy4HullFC Posted September 20, 2024 Posted September 20, 2024 It's been a couple of years since Hull had some kind of 'Manu' in their team (Willie, Sika, Mau). No doubt we'll sign him when he's 37.
